This is the first project I completed after joining the full Firehose program. Splurty is a website that displays quotes using a PostgreSQL database. I chose to use quotes from one of my favorite TV shows, Futurama.
This being the first app I created, I was exposed to working with databases via the rails console, including modals on the page, and using the Bootstrap grid system.
